V12 5.3L Dax Cobra

Selling price £15,999

This DAX Cobra was built by an experienced enthusiast.

It has a V12 5.3L Jaguar engine, Jaguar 4 speed manual gearbox, 6 Downdraught Webber Carbs (DC0E40) and Jaguar running gear.

Body is DAX Fibre Glass with a professional paint job (Burgundy).

The car is registered (we have the V5).

Owner (my Dad) is selling due to ill health and would love it to go to an enthusiast who will restore it back to it's former glory.

I wish I'd kept the video of it running - sounded awesome!

It is now located in a vehicle storage depot near Windsor.

This vehicle had been stored in a garage for several years. I has not run during that storage period and I would recommend an inspection before attempting to start it.

I would characterise this as a project which is 90% there and this is reflected in the price.

I want to be transparent about the issues; There are signs of aluminium surface corrosion around the engine/carbs due to damp in the garage where the car was stored. Some areas of the paintwork also require attention but not a complete respray. Two of the tyres slowly deflate, I assume they need to be reseated (car was up on stands during storage). It turns over on starter so is not seized.
