A spectacular XJ6 based GD427 Mk 3 built over a period of 9 years with the majority of components being new.
The only non new components are the front suspension arms/uprights, rear axle and brake callipers.
All the bearings were replaced and the bushings were replaced using poly bushes throughout.
Having to sell as I have a number of chronic illnesses which are now catching up with me.

A spectacular XJ6 based GD427 Mk 3 built over a period of 9 years with the majority of components being new.
The only non new components are the front suspension arms/uprights, rear axle and brake callipers.
All the bearings were replaced and the bushings were replaced using poly bushes throughout.
The callipers were professionally refurbished and upgraded to slotted and spotted disc rotors with EBC "Greenstuff" pads and the original XJ6 diff was replaced with a refurbished Power Lok unit.
The standard GD tubular steel chassis is finished in a silver powder coating for protection, powered by an LS2 with a cable operated throttle/TPS and an Omex 710 ECU which has been mapped on a rolling road to provide a smoothe application of power, without any undue surprises.
Together with the long top gear on the Tremec TKO600 gearbox, this setup delivers approximately 28 mpg when on a long run, and can still provide excitement when used with the close ratios in the lower 4 gears.
The body has been completed with a minimum of chrome-work, to enhance its beautiful lines and has the traditional under-slung centre exhausts. The finish is painted in green with a very fine flake in the base coat and a clear lacquer which gives an almost pearlescent look. The maroon leather and carpets finish off the period look.
The battery was replaced with an AGM type in 2022 and a plug in intelligent smart charger, which I use in the "down season", is included in the sale.
The car has a professionally fitted Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser with proximity fobs on each of the two sets of keys.
Included is a factory fitted soft top with side screens, contained in cotton carry sacks, and the GD specific registration.
