Speak to Ben at simply performance, he is a diff expert.  Rebuilt my diff and fitted a quaife black line power lock.
Great service.

Hi all, just been informed I have excessive play on my Salisbury (xj6) diff and it has worn most of the associated parts due to the slack. Diff needs rebuild and shim plus new associated parts. Plus there is a gentle whine from tko 5 speed gearbox thrust bearing.😭

6000 miles and this has made me think are these components strong enough for the cam'd sbc engine. I don't know how the car was previously treated. I'm going to spend a few grand on getting it sorted or are there any options other than repair? TIA
