Tommy-boy

Back when i was building my Cobra getrag were getting silly in regards to cost. IIRC i paid £500 for my 5speed Getrag and a further £500 on a full rebuild.

I would be surprised if you could find a solid getrag box for anything less then £1500 now and when you factor in a rebuild you would then be in tremec costs surly?

Personally i love my Getrag box, its a superb gearbox and can handle the power without any problems whatsoever... but this is a biased opinion as i have never had a tremec box.  ;D

Afternoon

Any views on these two 5 speed boxes.  2000ish age so not the latest tremec.

Either better or worse or things to look out for?

Thanks

James
