Cobra boot space

Have a look at a Crendon - the fuel tank is beneath the boot floor, so might give you better use of space.

I can confirm that a wheelchair will easily fit it the boot of an AK.
 Russ came shotgun with me a good while ago now, but a blat out and his chair in the boot.... Ne bosh!!

He also has now finished his AK and naturally stores his chair in the boot when he's out and about.

I have a spare wheel in the boot of my Sumo which is just about 25" diameter. Couldn't get anything larger than that in. The fuel tank occupies the space above the axle.

if you could get the wheelchair and, i presume, the wheels in a SLK then it will fit in almost all cobra replicas.

Hi Nick,

The different makes have different shaped boots, but will all mostly be quite a similar volume.  Both AK and Dax have the fuel tank under the boot floor, so probably have the best chance of fitting a wheelchair in easily.  If I remember correctly the Crendon and Hawk fuel tanks are on the boot floor behind the rear axle, so they should both have reasonable space for a wheelchair too.  The Pilgrim Sumo has the fuel tank over the rear axle, so probably won't fit a wheelchair.  The Gardner Douglas have the fuel tank upright just behind the rear axle, so while a wheelchair should fit on top of the axle/fuel tank, you would want to try it out as it might be tricky.

It will definitely be best to visit Total Headturners and have a look and try for yourselves.

Hi All
Currently looking to buy my first Cobra but need some advice regarding boot space.My wife uses a manual wheelchair that I can easily fold and remove wheels to reduce it's size.
I need advice on which manufactures provide on average the largest boot space.I can confirm that it folds relatively small as used to store in my Mercedes SLK 350 with the roof down and stored in boot.
That said I'm looking to visit Total head turners next week to check their available stock.All advice welcome
