I have the same CBS remote fluid reservoir on my Dax. I installed it myself in the last year. Works well.

You need two separate feeds. One for the rear and one for the front brakes to the master cylinder. That feed the two pipes to separate chambers in the reservoir. Dual feed reservoir has a single cap.

I have also found a supplier that does Master cylinders with remote reservoir's.
Apparently its a 3/4 integral forking master cylinder.
Performance Braking in Wales, and a chap called John that runs it. (Thanks to Anthony Hale for the information, its what he uses on his Crendon builds)

I have will have a chat with him next week and see what the options are.
As its stupid to pay £25 just for a cap that I need to drill a hole in to make it fit a 1 person bleed kit.
Also its a nightmare to get at back under the wing and trying to top it up is a funnel and length of tube or a syringe.
So a remote reservoir sounds like a good option and there plenty of more accessible places to fit it
I guess it needs to be double reservoir or could you join 2 into 1 with a splitter or Y connector.

Just been discussing this very issue with remote reservoir.
I have one on my Dax. Lots of options. You need to find the correct size fittings or turn them down to size.
The hose and reservoir is the easy part. Look at car builder solutions. They do Sierra adaptors. I used VW adaptors for my Dax.

Nice work Jon to find the correct part number, what a crazy price for a cap.

Anyone know what make and model brake master cylinder builders are using now on there AK builds.
As there cant be many of these old Rover 200 ones around, maybe something a bit more modern, and maybe even something you can fit a remote mounted fluid pot with, as the current access is terrible.

The part was off Rover 200 . The part no has been replaced with SJL000090.

They do seem to be out of stock

Has anyone found where you can buy a spare Brake master cylinder twist lock cap for an AK

As far as I know its 5/8 Girling with built in reservoir.
 
I think this might be it ? GMC-10-1 0.635 That's on some old paper work I have found from Merlin Motor sports.

The number on  the reservoir is 74470890

I'm trying to find a spare cap which I can adapt for use for hands free brake bleeding.
All the caps in the kits I have tried don't fit, as there are no threads, just 4 lugs.
Some form of twist lock by the look of it.
