I am sure it will have quality parts in the build but you can always take it for a rolling road tune and see what its making if you like to put it through some runs.
Watching your car on a rolling road is like being at the dentists but x10 worse!

Thanks ... Yes, I agree Mike Huddart engines are usually highly praised and the mountain of paperwork I have that came with the car I thought would have more detail on the engine build but it is very basic. I have tried calling Chris at CT Tuning as he uses a rolling road near me in Farnborough (10 minute drive), I had the same idea, to get the car a base line couple of runs and then see if anything needs to be done. I note in one of the more recent Snake Torque magazines that someone gave a good write up of CT Tuning and I've heard others talk highly about Chris also.

I'm the third owner and I have no idea what or who has touched the car before my ownership, and aside from what I've unearthed and what I can read there is a lot I don't know about it and want to understand more. What I do know having had a few high performance cars is this engine does not produce 400 let alone 450 hp.

The last car I had on a rolling road was my 2009 Vantage that I had remapped after having a twin plate clutch, lightened flywheel, 200 cell CATS and GT4 filter fitted. Like you say it's not for the faint hearted.  ;D

From what I've been told, Mike Huddart would seldom get drawn on the power output of his engines, I'm told his usual response would be 'it has more than you need' or words to similar effect.

Looking for some insight and general help please.

My car came with a 6.3 litre Stroker engine built by Mike Huddart, the car/engine have less than 4000 miles and the invoice for the engine on Huddart paperwork is from 2009.

Obviously Huddart engines is no longer trading and aside from the invoice, nothing else is stated. When I picked the car up from Total Head Turners, they mentioned the car having had a street cam, undersized pistons, Stealth intake etc. I can determine via a separate piece of paper in the stack of papers I have, the block is a 1974 4 bolt from a Camaro.

The only thing I can verify on the engine is the stealth intake as it's stamped into the metal, everything else is here say as far as I can tell.

Is there a list of the engines built by Mike Huddart or does anyone know more about them as it seems to me much or any info was not recorded.
