As an update for anyone else who has a cracked windscreen.
AK & GD both stated that they get their windscreens from Brasscraft, so that's what the insurer did, got it from Brasscraft. It was sent to a local (to me and on the same industrial estate as Pilgrim) installer. They did the job with no issues at all. I now have the Brasscraft Sundym windscreen. Not that you'd notice the very slight tint. All sotred.

Hi Kevin,
It is being done under insurance, (just the glass) but it's still a challenge for them. It needs to go into the original frame so that the hood will still fit.
They have spoken to Brasscraft who do a have a screen. I'm putting the insurer onto other Cobra manufacturers like GD & AK, along with Athony at Crendon. The insurers agent who's dealing with this is being very helpful though. Thanks for the reply.

Hi Don,

If it's glass, you should be able to get it replaced if you have windscreen insurance - just say its an AC, should fit. I think the main difference between a Pilgrim screen and the Brasscraft item is that the Pilgrim screens were glued in - I may be wrong. Obviously the chrome is a bit different.

If it's the glass + the chrome surround, speak to Anthony at Crendon Cars/Absolute Horsepower. I am sure it will be a useful conversation.

Hi,
As anyone recently replaced their Pilgrim Sumo Windscreen?
Pilgrim no longer stock them.
Brasscraft are offering a "Sundym" screen which looks like it has a green tint..not sure about that.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
