Just never know what to do with minimal leaks. Try resolve, or leave alone and deal with as routine maintenance
I don't think it will help if the pump is leaking ....

Jon1d, I think is spot on with his statement and I my self would also look at the water pump .
Coolant sealants will not fix these type of issues properly along with coolant hoses .
When my RV 8 was refurbished many years ago now all the core plugs were replaced, I would have  been quite happy to replace any leaking plugs as they are one of the easier jobs to carry out apart from the access point .
Core plug behind flywheel is just a bit more of a pain for obvious reasons, so the coolant sealer is in place and
seems to be working to date .
If there are leakage issues in future I will have to bite the bullet, remove gearbox and flywheel, I will just have to
see how things pan out .

Coolant leak from the water pump especially if its the weep hole . This is there for a reason to show the seal is failing and the pump needs to be replaced.

To date the very minor leak around the RHS rear core plug seems to be ok and the cooling system seems to be
working normally 😊 fingers crossed .
I've been for a few runs but have not been out and about for a few days now due to the weather 🙁

Hi John,
thanks for your response, as I mentioned the coolant loss is minimal so will be thinking about trying  some
sort of sealant, one that is not going to block everything up .

I will probably answer my own question here but here goes, has anyone used a coolant sealant, something
like K sealer for a very slight leak .
The leak I think is around a core plug, obviously behind the flywheel ! not really loosing much and have been
tempted to try a leak sealant, something that I have never done before.
Horror stories were alway attached to Bars leak products etc that don't just go to the minor leak that is present.
My thinking was that if there was something that could be tried and failed to do what it said on the tin, wouldn't
block everthing else in the cooling system ?
Usually an easy solution doesn't work in most cases.
Thanks for any info on this subject,
Chris.
