Fuel resistant paint

Thanks Kevin. No, not needed for the Sumo fuel tank as it's not rusty. I'm trying to coat the inside of the aluminium fuel filter bowl that is a part of the fuel pressure regulator. Because the car sits around for a while (as do many classic cars) the Ethanol in the fuel combined with the moisture that it has naturally absorbed, is encrusting the inside of the bowl. This then breaks down into the finest powder you've ever seen, fine enough to pass through the filter and the filters in the Edelbrock carb, to then block some of the jets.
This also happens inside the carb float chambers but does not encrust the float chamber bowl, it just sits in the bottom waiting to cause a problem.
It's not a problem when the car is in regular use and I always use E5 petrol when possible. Any particular 2K product that you know of please?

I am not sure what what would stand up to being submerged in ethanol-laced fuel, I was proposing it for an external coating. The other way round this might be a fuel additive.On another thread I belong to Anglo American Oil company's Storage Plus Fuel was mentioned
 - can be tipped in, and also used as neat fuel. No idea if its any good.

I think you are looking for fuel-proof paint to go inside and outside a Sumo petrol tank?
In that case I would suggest any 2k product ought to be pretty bomb-proof compared to rattle cans, cellulose or enamel, which are all 1k products on the outside, you just have to be careful with the isocyanates.
Don't think there is any point in adding a coating on the inside.

POR15 have a fuel tank sealer (grey) that is designed to be fuel proof if that's any use

Does anyone have any experience of a paint, possibly a two part epoxy, or Polyurethane, or something else, that is TOTALLY E5 fuel resistant. In that, the painted part is continuously immersed in E5 petrol. Sometimes I have to use E10 petrol when touring as that's all that is available, but I avoid E10 if at all possible. Thanks in advance.
