I have a similar lift, I sometimes think it is the best and the worst tool I've ever bought.

Really useful, not only for lifting the whole car up for servicing but also for lifting the body off the cobra.
Why is it the worst?  Well because you can do things you do do things so I've taken on jobs which I would otherwise not have done!

Quick update,  I finally managed to get a few days spare to spend in the garage and not freeze my N--- off, I have now fully installed my short height 2 post lift. I did use additional chemical anchor set resin, as belt and braces, even though I had plenty of thickness in the concrete floor.

I ran the hydraulic hoses up and over the garage roof trusses, so out out of the way leaving the floor totally clear.

Wow what a difference this is going to make for servicing and cleaning, or just about anything that needs my cob up in the air.

I had the same experience when my scissor lift arrived and I couldn't get the thing off the pallet which was taking up most of the driveway at the time

Well my new short height 2 post car lift has arrived.
It took a bit of sorting to get it out of its shipping crate on my own, but with the aid of my old trolly jack I managed it.  All parts checked, and pre assembled.
Next step is bolt it to floor. This will have to wait for a few days, as Im off the classic car show at the NEC

Well I'm still looking for a low height car lift, 2 post type with no bar across the floor.

Latest information I have just received. 

MaxJax Europe will not supply to the UK, this is what they have to say.
It is currently the case that we do not ship to the UK because there is too much paperwork involved due to the Brexit. sorry for the inconvenience.

So that option is no longer available to any of us. Plus the cost $2,650.00.

Well Im still looking for a car lift, no decent deals out there at present.

Different models to chose from with both.

Not really any good for me,  as you do not get clear access under the car.
Great for body shops etc

you might want to check out cjautosheywood.co.uk. I bought one of their tilting scissor lifts. Can't remember what I paid because I bought a couple of other things too. It was £400 and something. I have an e type sitting on it about 2ft off the floor, the tilt mechanism locks but I also use axle stands as insurance. I'm not sure about the maximum lift. I use an impact driver to raise and lower it. They have a showroom so you can play with it before you buy.

What's the cost including delivery. on short 2 post lift ??
I seem to remember a post on a social media site from this supplier, and he never replied to the questions raised.
That was for prices and information etc on their quickjack type system.

I reached out to E4G - they say they don't have any and don't think they'll be getting any more in, and suggested to call for other low ceiling options (which I'm betting would be scissor lifts). Bit of a shame!
