This is what i came up with for mine - just need to tidy up the bracketry and create a couple of other small ones.

Far easier to mount and a lot less floppy than a cut up OEM mount.

Hi,
  I think the pump is from a Saxo but not 100% sure. I gave up with the bracket that was supplied with the pump and designed a new one which I had laser cut. I've mounted it behind the radiator on the nearside. The Cobra is packed away at the moment as I'm working on the classic mini, so no photos I'm afraid.

This reminds me, I have a few sets of the laser cut parts left is anyone is interested but they will need welding up and painting.

How did you get on with this in the end?
What pump do AK supply?  Im using a TRW pump from an Astra for my AK build.
Im locating it offside behind the rad, having to cut up and modify the bracket to make it fit.

Hi,
  I'm trying to mount the AK supplied electric power steering pump, I believe it is supposed to go behind the radiator on the nearside but it just too big, the only way I can make that work with the supplied bracket is to mount it underneath the chassis rail, which just seems far to low for my liking.

Has anyone else come across this problem before?

Any photos would be really helpful?
