Tyre choice advice wanted

Just fitted Uniroyal Rainsport 5 to my Dax Cobra fronts (225/45/17) and have been very impressed. Good dry/wet grip, great steering response and braking. Was recommended these by my lad whose mates use them as low costs track day tyres. Quite a soft compound so unsure how long they will last...

Hi All,
  I've taken delivery of my nice new 17" wheels from Bob at Vintage wheels in the US for my AK Gen3 and now I need to get some tyres fitted.

I've seen a couple of blogs where people are fitting Continental Sport 5's in the sizes I need but from the photos it looks like their fitting SSR/run flat tyres and as I understand it this isn't recommended with out a type pressure monitoring system.

I've looked at non run flat tyres and these two Mercedes fitment tyres seem to be the best I've been able to come up with

255-45-R17 98Y
225-50-R17 94W

but are the mismatched speed and weight ratings going to be a problem?

Has anyone fitted something different that you would recommend?
