UK COBRA CLUB Area Reps
Meet the UK Cobra Club area reps
Step Up and Steer the Community: We’re Recruiting Area Representatives!
Are you passionate about Cobra replicas? Do you love the roar of a V8, the thrill of a custom build, and the camaraderie of the classic car community?
The UK Cobra Replica Club is currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated members to become Area Representatives in your region.
Our Area Reps are the heartbeat of the club. They keep the local community active, engaged, and growing. Whether you drive a Dax, an AK, a Pilgrim, or a scratch-build, if you have a passion for Cobras and love bringing people together, we want you on our team!
What is an Area Representative?
An Area Representative acts as the local face of the UK Cobra Replica Club. You will be the primary point of contact for members in your designated region, helping to foster a welcoming environment where owners, builders, and enthusiasts can share their passion, knowledge, and cars.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Area Rep, your primary goal is to keep the local Cobra spirit alive and kicking. Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing Local Meets: Plan and host regular local gatherings, such as monthly pub meets, Sunday breakfast runs, or scenic drive-outs.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate the local club stand at regional classic car shows and motoring events, ensuring a great turnout of Cobra replicas.
- Welcoming New Members: Act as a friendly first point of contact for new or prospective club members in your area, introducing them to the local community and answering basic queries.
- Committee Liaison: Serve as the bridge between your local members and the national club committee, passing on feedback, ideas, and regional news.
- Content Contribution: Submit brief regional updates, event reports, and photos for the club magazine, website, or social media pages to showcase what your area has been up to.
- Builder Support: Help connect members who are currently building their replicas with local owners who might have the technical knowledge or experience to help them out.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A current, active member of the UK Cobra Replica Club.
- Someone approachable, organized, and friendly.
- A passion for all things Cobra, regardless of the manufacturer or engine type.
- Someone with a little spare time to dedicate to organizing local activities.
