About John
I have been interested in cobras since 1980’s and joined my local U.K. CRC in 1992 after watching the film GumBall Rally film.
I purchased my first cobra Dax Ford 351 Cleveland ( JON1D) built by John May Dax fabricator and supplier to Dax in 1996. ( Photo)
I purchased my second cobra Crendon 452 Ford FE Big block in 2022 which was Anthony Hails show car at Stoneleigh in 2021. (Photo)
The two cars are completely a different drive with the Dax having underslung exhausts and great for European cruises having done a number of trips to Lemans Classic and Angouleme in France.
The Crendon is loud and is a real driver’s car with such a brilliant chassis, handling is a joy on country roads with more power than I ever dare use.
