Yarmouth Car Show

Mine was home with me in the garage. Well, not me in the garage, just the car. But I was home.
I hadn't realized how big the show would be. Looks like it would be worth the 2 hour drive, but still I would leave the Cobra home.

I participated in a show once. Back in 1999. Very hot day. Very long day. Blocked in so couldn't leave early. Had to keep an eye on my car the entire time I was looking at other entries. I didn't enjoy it.

Mind you, I did win a trophy, for the "Best Rag Top". Irony was I didn't even own the rag for the top. At the time I didn't think it wise to purchase the top for $1000 USD when in all likelihood I would never use it and it would sit in the corner of my garage, the material rotting and the support pieces rusting.

Now here's another video on a recent NS Car Show. Held at CFB Greenwood it features lots of decommissioned military planes. Only a little over 14 minutes long, so not as bad as the first one.

No, not your Yarmouth, my Yarmouth. Yes my Yarmouth is a little over a 2 hour drive from me and is a fairly small town of a little over 7000. There is a car ferry over to Bar Harbor, Maine, which is apparently how some of the cars came over for the show. It's a lot of cars for a small town and the video may not hold your interest for its full 35 minutes. I watched it all as I was looking for some of my acquaintance's cars.
