Yes, I had thought that although I really don't plan to be using it in the wet, but as you say that would be a relatively easy addition.

I think I ended up with more relays than you, so perhaps you created a better system! I haven't found the notebook containing the diagrams I drew up .. which will bite me on the arse if I ever need to fix anything! 

I did have some help from a chap who is a pro, he added the diode and changed a couple of things but I was on the right track to start with just not quite there!  Also happy to let you have the diagram if you want it but if yours is working even with more relays, I would leave well alone!

Two switching relays and a diode later, wipers work as they should do.  The one plus point is that now there is only relay switching current going through the wiper switch.

I have the same problem with my Dax. I have the same rotary switch and the park function is meant to ground out the motor. But this kept blowing the fuse. So I just wired it up without the park function. I would be interested to know how you achieved the park function including wiring diagrams and what relays you used.

Relays.. you'll need relays. I'll see if I can find the wiring diagram I drew up - I have the same setup (probably the same rotary switch!)

Several fuses valiantly gave their lives to create said diagram 

Guys,  I think I have worked it out, no time now but I'll give it a try next week.  Aaron, if you do find your drawing I would still be grateful to check what I have done.

Kevin, that looks like the switch I have, where does it give the contacts closed or open in the different positions?  I cant find that, if its the same one I have then it definitely does not have closed contacts in the off position.

Its different from the very similar looking Land Rover item. I don't think there is a table on this, I just worked it out. I might have it written down somewhere in my old build notes, do you want me to have a look?

A new switch might be your easiest way forward
I used this that also had the screen wash option that I didn't use...it operates 2 speeds and park.
