Bottom rad hose needs replacing

An update with this:
Decided to drain coolant and have a look at the pipe in question
The silicone pipe was ok in the end, or seems so.

The bigger problem is the bottom exit from/on the rad (Return to engine) has taken a real whack and was flattened out, with a ridge in the middle pointing up, causing a channel for coolant to flow out.

So, tried to remake the (Aluminium) return flow exit pipe on the rads, but it wasnt great, and leaked again.

Have now applied a good bit of flexible thermoplastic gasket sealant, and will fill up again, and test for leaks. Not holding out much hope.

Someone point me in direction of how to post up photos please?

Dax radiator bottom outlet is a 90 degree 45mm O.D. or close to 1 3/4 inch.

The best solution is a small straight hose go into a 90 degree alloy or Stainless pipe.

This company do a lot of different sizes and bends.

Are you sure about the internal diameter?
I replaced mine a couple of years ago with this - 45mm internal.

I'm sure there are many aftermarket options like Samco and equivalent that could help. You just need to measure, photo and ask.
If it's just a silicone hose I can't see it being that difficult to find a replacement.

Agreed. Will see what i can do.
Am attending a show over weekend, so hope the leak remains as a small drip, drip.
Probly Tuesday next week is earliest am gonna raise car, get on my back and try an "engineer" a solution with products to hand.

As an  aside, i took Cobra to my regular garage and they said they cant get the part, and dont hold any hose that would suit. He was quite helpful in giving me advice as to how go about it. So thats the professional out the way, over to me . LOL. Its just sourcing the right part, not expediting the job, that concerns me.

Still, will see what i can do with uploading a pic

My bottom rad pipe is weeping a bit, looks slightly cracked and perished where jubilee clip is

Its a strange shape so dont know where to go for replacement

Believe the Internal diameter is 48 mm, and looks like a sweeping 90deg angle
Would prefer to replace so it has to be a form of flexible rubber to join the metal exit pipe of the rad, to a metal return to engine pipe?

Or might try and cut back an inch and reattach.

Anyone have any pointers. Thanks
