I got a quote for rear quarter arches and front nose section from a local firm £1800. I though he was having a laugh when he said oh we don't have any pattern to follow so it will be hand done and we can then copy the pattern for future cobra's! Sounds like at my expense. I said well you will be getting more business once you have done mine then and able to offer it about half the price. Silence !
I have now bought some for the rear splats and will be having a go myself having spoken to a few people. The film comes in different thicknesses so you need the thickest for the arch where stones get thrown onto.   The 3m PPF 14ml is difficult to get hold of as 3M is only supplied to an approved installer.

I was also thinking of doing the same. I wouldn't have thought heat would be a problem because there's quite a big air gap between the end of the exhaust and wheel arch. There's a body wrap company not far from me. When the weather improves I'll take the car and ask.

Having taken the sidepipes off for a clean, I've noticed a fair amount of stone chips in the bodywork hidden behind the pipes. Has anyone used the ETech adhesive chip film in this location. Wondering about heat impact from the pipes.
