Agreed, very sad day.  She is the only monarch most people in the UK (and indeed so many parts of the world) have ever known  :(

No great shock considering her age really, however royalist or not I won't argue she served the country with the upmost dignity and pride. That alone should be congratulated, in a modern world where people want to identify as fish fingers and aspire to be moronic celebrities.
