European Cobra Meeting 2027 - Venue announced - Nurburgring

Hi everyone, I am so pleased to be able to announce here that, coinciding with its 100th year anniversary, the European Cobra Meeting will take place next year at the Nurburgring, which is great.  When we've surveyed participants who've attended prior meetings, this was the number one most often requested venue so it is great that we finally get to go there.

You can find all the necessary details in the link attached including how to register but I'd like to make three important and related points here upfront:
1) because we'll be attending one of the most popular venues in the Motorsport world, the Nurburgring management team cannot give us a date for our meeting until the FIA have fixed the Motorsport calendar for next year, and which they will only do in December.  What we do know is that we'll be given a date sometime between May and September.
2) in addition to visiting this iconic place and having the chance to drive on the Nordschleife (at your own risk on one of the public sessions) the organising team Stefan Lingnau and Claudia Steimel have negotiated an optional package of driver training that will take place on the Grand Prix track. 
3) so that Stefan and Claudia can continue to plan, we need you to register for this event now, even not knowing the dates.  If, when the dates are finally announced in December, you find you cannot attend, you can cancel at zero cost by mid January.  So no risk then for you.

So don't delay, read the pack in the attached link now and get your registration completed.  Since the ECM 2027 Nurburgring venue was announced on the closing evening of the 2026 Meeting in Davos just one week ago, there are already 40 registrations completed.   I well recall 20 years ago when I used to arrange an annual visit to the Old Timer Grand Prix meeting at the Ring what a popular destination this is for the UK CRC members.  I really hope many of you make this a once in a lifetime experience and join us.
