Is DAX still in business

As an update as of today, all is OK now with JK Sports Cars. I've had good comms with John today.

I ordered some parts a week ago, and nothing as yet
Called the mobile and just goes to message
Emailed the supplied address as well

Getting nervous

UPDATE: Parts arrived 27th April after receiving an email they woul;d be delayed due to supply issues

I've only ever used the email address from their web site and it was that mail server that failed to respond.
However based on the latest posts, I've tried again.

Last week as collected my major order at his shop in Belgium, where he runs Dax Benelux for more then 25 years.
I do known that he is travelling many times per month to he UK, where he run JK Sports Cars since 2017.

Hi all,

I've had a reply from John at JK and all is still very much business as usual. No issues his end.

Therefore if you've had issues emailing I'd suggest you check things from your side - I emailed via the email address on the JK website and all worked fine.

So if JKSportscars has ceased trading, and I sincerely hope they haven't, what does this mean for current owners especially those part way through a build?

I think you can just contact XCS and they'll sort you out.

I would think there's not much on a Dax that's unique to a Dax (chassis and body aside) I'm pretty sure most bits can be obtained from other manufacturers.

I emailed on Tuesday. Haven't received any bouncebacks or errors though.

I spoke to JK a month or so ago without issue. But no responses to recent emails in the last couple of weeks

Dax Sportscars, DJ sportscars and 427 Motor co all dissolved on companies house, so i would say not.

Jk sportscars still active, but the last years accounts are not very enthusiastic to say the least.

Did AK not buy them all out and still supply parts and pieces?

My emails to them keep getting returned with the error:-
Host jksportscars.co.uk is not responding.
the person's destination email provider has not been reachable or has not accepted this message
The UK phone number rings for a while then cuts off.
The Belgium number rings and then an answering machine states the call cannot be answered and no message can be left.
Anyone know anything about them?
