Bit of a long shot, but has anyone had this applied to a hardtop interior or elsewhere, DIY or professionally.
Any good?
I've got it on the roof of the Daytona and it seems quite good. Doesn't seem to need much after care.

Thanks. have you got one of the 427Hardtops tops?
Pricey, but they look very nice. Is it just like 'Action Man realistic hair' or ....?
Difficult to tell from Youtube vids.

No it's on the Daytona coupe not a roadster hardtop. It hasn't got a pile as such but just feels slightly rough to the touch. I can put a photo up if it will help?
I used a DIY kit on the interior of my glovebox. Did an acceptable job, not sure if I would be happy with it anywhere on view though. Don't do it on too warm a day though as the glue skins over before the flock can stick.

I'd forgotten it had moved from Stoneleigh! We're away right afterward so there's a good chance we might miss it (again) unfortunately

Sorry for the delay, been involved in the devils work-decorating.

The nap is very fine on my car with a feel similar to suede but it's too fine to brush to produce a shade if that makes sense. I seem to remember it could be applied electro-statically which would explain the fineness of the application.

It's basically the same process as fake grass for model railways, isn't it? Bit like powder coating but with strands instead of a powder..
Does this process also work for baldness ? I am up for giving it a try.

Perfect for the Action Man realistic hair look.

I had someone do the dashboard for the GT40 and I am really happy with it, great job, great finish and it does not reflect the light in the screen at all
