Hi
QUestion here, looking for help
I am buying a 2008 AK Cobra
Mrs wants seats with headrests in case of a rear-ending so that's happening
I am looking at the Intatrim Solars with headrests but only issue is the shoulder harness straps come from a single point so how do they "get around" the headrest as the harness belts won't have split enough by the time they pass the headrest!!!
Has anyone come across this conundrum and how have they answered it? I dont really want to start drilling holes for twin harness anchorage points
YOur help appreciated
You might be over thinking this.
Even though the AK top belt position is in the center, the belts should come round the head rest without a problem. Or through the gap between the seat and head rest, depending on how the head rest fixes to the seats, single bar or twin bars.
I have used the same type of belts in My Westfield as well in the past, they were high back seats which had slots for the belts to pass through.
I have been looking at seats with built in head rest rather than fixing to the roll bar. Im sure there are plenty of AK owners who have head rest and same belts.
Photo of my AK belts for example.
Look on line you will find photos of all sorts of cobra builds with different types of seats with or with out headrest.

I am now in the very capable hands of Intatrim who seem to be very comfortable with the project and thanks to you for the feedback. I'll sleep now! Just new ground to me, all of this. I'm coming from a little Dax Rush, so its all new
