Has anyone ever found or had made a nice set of black matts with colour edging for an AK cobra, and the cobra logo, A fair few have asked on different media platforms, I wonder if its worth getting a pattern sent around to check a standard size will fit most AK builds, and then place an order for a few sets.

Classic cobra interiors do carpet sets, as do intatrim, but not sure about the details or logo.
Worth asking.
They were at Newark kit car show.
Worth a shout.

I have a requested a quote form inatrim, to see if they can do sets with or without heal pad and logo etc. I'm guessing they farm carpet making or supplying to a third party, but will see where it goes.
Worth speaking to Hamilton Classisc. Been in the industry a long time and have loads of templates. I know they have supplied club members carpet matts.

Just had a reply from a local guy in Somerset.
He is willing to look at making sets of matts for us
He will use my AK cobra to make a template and go from there.
Its not going to happen quick so please bear with me, as work and holiday commitments etc
This will be more of a winter project

Interested to see what prices come back from Smiffy's Auto Upholstery.
The carpet material used makes a big difference. Almost double the cost going wit a high quality 80 wool.
The quality of there work looks very good. Most will want a template and where your fixing holes or thetype of fixings required. Its is a bespoke service as some times seat positions if bolted down can interfere with the carpet size.
Finally got round to making my carpet set template.
As it turns out the passengers side is just the reverse of the drivers side all the sizes match.
That makes it even easier for anyone to make a set.
Will see what my trimmer comes up with next.
Sizes on my template photo if anyone wants to check against their car.
Main difference would be the length depending on if you have seat runners fitted or not.

Its coming along nicely.
I would just go with the round cobra stitching IMO

I made a couple changes from the first design.
They fit perfect.
I think I will just use Velcro to secure them, or carpet tape.
I don't think they will need solid fittings to hold them in position.
Time will tell.
