I have given up on trying to adjust the tracking using my old steering arms as they were too bent. I now have new arms from Andy at GD and was wondering whether they should be powder coated or whether Hammerite would do the job (or VHT paint?).
There is a place near here that will powder coat but they have a £30 min order quantity. Is it worth getting it done or would Hammerite do the job (I already have a pot lying around). I assume there will be a heat issue as they are close up against the discs?
Thanks for any advice on what you have used and whether it has has passed the test of time.
Martin
Mine are 20+ years old, coat of hammerite and they're still good.

Another big fan of Hammerite, easy preparation, long lasting and most importantly can be easily touched up.
