Hello CobraClub fans and welcome to the new "official" forum. Without wanting to dwell on the past and talk about the "other" forum we want to make this forum as user friendly as possible. One of the niggles previously was the difficulties in hosting/displaying pictures with your post, and we all know "a picture speaks a thousand words"
Without getting bogged down with jargon, and technical details we would prefer any images posted to be hosted through a third party site then embedded into your post/thread. This in a nutshell will help keep the bandwidth down and thus the costs for hosting the forum.
So to achieve a picture within you thread/post you will first need a host. I have done some testing with various free providers and https://postimages.org/ (https://postimages.org/) seems to be fairly user friendly
Simply click on "choose an image" and select the source of you image (either on your computer hard drive or photo library if using tablet/phone)
(https://i.postimg.cc/bSpFm5YP/A1638-EEF-A874-461-E-951-F-11-EADE981-E81.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/bSpFm5YP)
This will upload you image to one of the dark corners of the internet, so exercise caution with anything uploaded such as personal details/data.
Once you have uploaded you image you will be given various options for embedding the image. You will see an option "thumbnail for forum" which you simply copy that link and paste into your thread/post

Thumbnail link is probably best as you will not have to worry about resizing the image for the forum layout, it will display your image and if clicked will enlarge to a full screen image.
Hope this all makes sense, now get posting your Cobra pictures!
Tommy

Great write up Tommy, a clear and concise explanation.

Sorry Tommy, didn't read this till after first post. I will make sure I use remote picture hosting next time.
Take care,
Ian

It just makes it easier on the bandwidth mate, and thus when things really get rolling it will save having to spend more. Sumo is looking great also, will have a meet up when i'm back of holiday. 8)
