Title: Front shock absorbers.
Post by: Dek on Sep 03, 2022, 09:48 AM
One of my front coilover AVO shocks is weeping and the pair will need replacing. AVO want £110+vat each which seems a bit steep but I'm probably out of touch. Anyone got any suggestions of other makes and what are the critical measurements?
Thanks.

Thanks Tony, I'll look them up. I suppose the important measurements are id of spring, open and closed lengths and bush size?

Look up dampertech (if they're still going) they knew what shocks fitted on all the kits.

I've got pro tech on mine, supplied by GD.  They're for a Jag based car with an old school Chevy 350 lump.

Thanks Tony. Looks like they're still going. I'll make contact.
